Visiting Cambodia: what to know before you buy, and what not to take home

Cambodia is an easy place to visit and Siem Reap in particular sees a lot of people who are here for a few days around Angkor. If you are one of them, this is the short version of what is worth knowing.
Buy here, do not bring it with you
This is the important one. Products of this kind are restricted or outright illegal to import in a long list of countries, and customs officers are far more familiar with them than people expect. Buying locally, using it locally, and leaving it behind is the only version of this with no border in it. The same goes for the trip home. Do not put it in your luggage. A bottle that cost a few dollars is not worth a conversation at an airport, and the rules in your own country are the ones that will be applied to you, not Cambodia's.
The one safety rule
Never combine products of this type with erection medication — sildenafil, tadalafil, or anything in that family — or with any heart medication containing nitrates. The combination drops blood pressure sharply and the result can be serious. This is not a disclaimer written to be ignored; it is the single interaction that sends people to hospital. Beyond that: use in a ventilated room, keep it off your skin, keep it away from anything burning, and keep it out of reach of anybody who does not know what it is.
Age
Everything in this shop is for adults only. We do not sell to anybody under eighteen, and we do not make exceptions for holidays.
Getting it while you are here
We deliver to hotels and guesthouses in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, in plain packaging, and you can pay by KHQR from a phone. How delivery works covers the practical side. If you would rather ask a question before ordering, message the shop. Nobody here will be surprised by the question.
